Well, I don’t know where to start because not only do I struggle with OCD, but I also have ADHD and bipolar disorder, but lately, the OCD has been the loudest roaring monster I am dealing with so, I will start there. It’s a monster that won’t leave me alone and just seems to enjoy bullying me nonstop.

Welcome to my blog! I have been wanting to start blogging for the last 4 years, but tonight is when I am actually doing it. What caused the delay? Oh man…it’s a long story, of which I will share throughout my posts but 4 years ago, the love of my life died, my husband. It definitely has affected me in every way possible, one being a huge amplification/worsening of my mental disorders; especially OCD.

Being that I struggle with Just Right OCD and have terrible confession compulsions due to scrupulosity as well, I want to apologize beforehand if I have spelling errors or punctuation errors as well as occasional profanity. I just value transparency and authenticity highly and would like to reflect in real time how my mind is working. Especially having ADHD at the same time.

I write for two reasons: the first one being that I want to cope with OCD in a healthier way other than abusing alcohol and/or the endless tedious compulsions it makes me do. The second one and probably the most dear one to my heart is to support you. Whether or not you have OCD.

So if you are a fellow sufferer like myself, I am SO sorry you are going through this. You might not believe it now, but WE GOT THIS. We can kick some OCD ass together!   No matter where you are on your OCD journey.

If you DON’T have OCD….then leave! HAHAH Just kidding! Thank you for being here because you are helping me spread awareness just by reading and you are opening your mind and making an attempt to understand OCD whatever the reason may be. You might have a loved one that suffers from it and want to know how to help, or the opposite, you might be sick and tired of the repetitive behavior they do and you want it to stop! Believe me I get it. One of the reasons my ex husband divorced me was because I had OCD. (we can get into that in later posts)

May my blogs serve you all in whatever way you need 🙂 Thank you for reading because you might not know it yet, but you are helping me a lot in my own OCD recovery.
